Senior Software Engineer - Node.js/AWS

Responsibilities

• ▹Analyze data integrity issues via SQL and logs
• ▹Communicate project status and recommendations to client stakeholders
• ▹Write efficient, testable, scalable, secure client code
• ▹Participate in planning and estimation
• ▹Gather requirements and present features to clients
• ▹Collaborate with engineers, designers and managers
• ▹Participate in agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives)
• ▹Mentor others through Communities of Practice
• ▹Design and implement scalable backend services and APIs
• ▹Use AWS serverless services (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, RDS)
• ▹Query DynamoDB/RDS data to analyze errors and perform root cause analysis
• ▹Mentor and guide junior team members

Requirements

• ▹Experience designing scalable backend services and APIs
• ▹AWS serverless expertise (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, RDS)
• ▹Agile software development experience
• ▹Expertise in Object-Oriented Programming principles
• ▹High-level design proficiency (UML/C4/ArchiMate)
• ▹Experience building well-tested, scalable, performant enterprise-level systems
• ▹Experience mentoring engineers
