Responsibilities

• ▹Design, configure and maintain Databricks Genie Spaces for complex business domains
• ▹Curate semantic metadata, SQL queries and golden instructions for accurate SQL generation
• ▹Test, benchmark and fine-tune Genie responses for complex business logic and multi-turn conversations
• ▹Connect Genie endpoints to custom web interfaces and implement feedback loops
• ▹Build and optimize data pipelines with Python, SQL and PySpark for Delta Lake
• ▹Use LLMs on Databricks for metadata enrichment and semantic optimization
• ▹Act as translator between business users and the data platform

Requirements

• ▹5+ years hands-on experience with the Databricks ecosystem, especially Genie, Unity Catalog, Databricks SQL/Workflows
• ▹Expert-level SQL and data modeling skills (star schemas, gold tables, views)
• ▹Strong production-grade Python experience
• ▹Strong understanding of Text-to-SQL paradigms, prompt engineering, semantic routing, RAG architectures
• ▹Proficiency in Apache Spark (PySpark)
• ▹Experience integrating GenAI endpoints via REST APIs
