Senior Application Engineer, Workplace Technology

In Mozilla's newly formed Workplace Technology team you will design, build and maintain the systems and automations that power Mozilla's workplace technologies, from collaboration and AI productivity tools to identity and access workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build and maintain scripts, APIs and workflow automations powering workplace systems (Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Atlassian) and identity platforms (Okta)
  • Develop lightweight services or integrations connecting collaboration tools, GenAI tools (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini) and internal systems, enabling agentic flows
  • Implement monitoring, logging and observability for automation and AI workflows; troubleshoot and improve reliability, scalability and cost-efficiency
  • Contribute to secure onboarding, off-boarding and mover workflows across access, permissions and SaaS tools
  • Collaborate with IT, Security and People teams to embed identity, data and compliance standards (SSO, DLP, classification)
  • Participate in pilot projects for new AI and productivity capabilities: integrating LLMs and agents, tracking adoption metrics, building assistive flows
  • Contribute to the code review process and documentation of shared libraries
