Project manager

Responsibilities

• ▹Requirements gathering and formalization, business process description
• ▹Planning: decomposing goals into tasks, planning iterations/releases, building the roadmap, tracking metrics and milestones
• ▹Managing priorities, dependencies and resources
• ▹Defining success metrics and monitoring project progress
• ▹Preparing regular reports (status, risks, plan vs. actual)
• ▹Project-level risk management: timely escalation, handling systemic risks
• ▹Managing stakeholder expectations
• ▹Initiating and implementing process improvements

Requirements

• ▹2+ years of experience as a Project Manager
• ▹Experience managing several teams in parallel (3+ teams, 3+ specialists each): iteration planning, task prioritization, execution control
• ▹2+ proven cases of improving team metrics (velocity, predictability, quality, etc.)
• ▹Systemic management of the full project cycle: from setting goals and plans to controlling execution, dependencies and the critical path
• ▹Estimating timelines and scope based on historical data and experience
• ▹Planning delivery under constrained resources (people, time, budget)
• ▹Task setting and writing structured specs: what / why / deadline / acceptance criteria
• ▹Setting SMART goals
• ▹Risk management: identification, response plan, monitoring, escalation
