Senior BI Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Design and build scalable, automated data pipelines (ETL/ELT) and data models
• ▹Develop sophisticated dashboards and reporting tools for leadership and analysts
• ▹Establish data governance: documentation, metadata management, and data quality practices
• ▹Audit and optimize SQL queries and dashboard performance
• ▹Act as a technical consultant to non-technical departments defining KPIs
• ▹Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers

Requirements

• ▹5+ years of experience in BI engineering, data engineering, or a similarly technical analytics role
• ▹Practical experience with cloud data warehouses (Databricks, Snowflake, or BigQuery), Databricks preferred
• ▹Strong understanding of dimensional modeling (Star/Snowflake schemas) and modern data stack tools (e.g. dbt)
• ▹Expert-level SQL skills (complex joins, window functions, performance tuning)
• ▹Deep expertise in at least one enterprise BI platform (Tableau, Power BI, Looker), Omni + Power BI preferred

• ▹Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD workflows
• ▹Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
• ▹Experience working in a global, 100% remote team
• ▹Experience in the ResTech industry
• ▹Knowledge of Salesforce
• ▹Knowledge of statistical analysis and machine learning concepts
