Software Engineer in Test (QA automation)

Responsibilities

• ▹Works closely with product and development teams to continuously test the latest product features
• ▹Supports development teams as co-owner of the tests related to their features, driving their adoption
• ▹Implements and maintains automated tests (end-to-end, performance, etc.)
• ▹Owns the integration of tests into the continuous deployment pipeline
• ▹Implements custom tools
• ▹Documents detailed and precise bug reports

Requirements

• ▹Fluency in English
• ▹5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance Engineering
• ▹Proficiency using a modern end-to-end test framework such as Playwright or Cypress
• ▹Proven ability to write bugs and help developers define them
• ▹Significant experience implementing and maintaining Continuous Integration jobs (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, etc.)
• ▹Experience on a web-based SaaS product deployed with Continuous Deployment
• ▹Strong communication skills to drive best practices and articulate the testing framework to other developers

Nice to have

• ▹Experience implementing different types of tests such as performance tests
• ▹Comfortable with programming languages such as TypeScript or Python
• ▹Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure
• ▹Fluency in French
