Senior Software Engineer in Flight Experience

Responsibilities

• ▹Drive AI-powered innovation across the core stack by supporting the build of highly efficient, real-time solutions for disruption handling, automated check-in, baggage and seating
• ▹Ensure engineering excellence by taking complete ownership of holistic solutions, writing maintainable code and fostering robust unit, integration and manual testing practices
• ▹Leverage product and business metrics to uncover real traveler needs and shape high-impact technical features
• ▹Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, Data experts and neighboring engineering teams
• ▹Ship early and iterate fast to refine live services, moving from initial concept to production deployment with trust and autonomy

Requirements

• ▹Proven track record of accelerating development with AI-native tools like Cursor or Claude Code
• ▹Advanced knowledge of Python, writing clean, stable and maintainable production code
• ▹Proven experience designing scalable systems using microservices, REST principles and asynchronous messaging architectures like Celery and RabbitMQ
• ▹Senior-level, hands-on data management experience with PostgreSQL and Redis, plus familiarity with BigQuery to optimize data flows
• ▹Ability to solve complex problems, evaluate technical paths, debug intricate multi-system issues and develop sustainable fixes
• ▹Track record of owning projects end-to-end from inception to production, sharing responsibility for safe deployments and cloud infrastructure reliability
• ▹Thrives in high-autonomy environments, taking initiative to resolve blockers independently
• ▹Professional proficiency in English (written and verbal)
