Senior General QA Engineer (Python)

Responsibilities

• ▹Test complex web travel applications
• ▹Design and execute test cases for functionality and usability
• ▹Conduct functional (UI/API), regression, and integration testing, manual and automated
• ▹Perform ad-hoc and exploratory testing on high-risk areas
• ▹Identify, report, and track defects
• ▹Write and maintain test documentation (test plans, test cases, bug reports, Confluence articles)
• ▹Participate in feature planning and test plan creation with TPM and Team Lead
• ▹Collaborate with PM and Team Lead on requirements
• ▹Strive for high automated test coverage across levels
• ▹Collaborate with developers on unit and component test integration
• ▹Write and maintain automated tests at integration and end-to-end levels

Requirements

• ▹5+ years of experience in web application testing (UI/API, functional/non-functional)
• ▹Hands-on exploratory testing experience
• ▹Experience with API testing tools (Postman, Swagger, Curl)
• ▹Experience creating and maintaining test documentation
• ▹Ability to write clear bug reports, checklists, and feature requests
• ▹Familiarity with programming principles, version control, issue tracking, and CI
• ▹Experience running automation tests and analyzing reports
• ▹Excellent English communication skills, written and spoken
• ▹Self-motivated, proactive, able to multitask and prioritize
