Senior Software Engineer (Customer Platform)

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Design, build, and evolve customer-facing backend services and public APIs used across multiple products
• ▹Own features end-to-end, from design through implementation, rollout, and iteration
• ▹Create technical design documents and drive design plans with clarity and confidence
• ▹Contribute to a product-driven roadmap, helping prioritize tradeoffs and ship iteratively

Requirements

• ▹5+ years of experience building production services and APIs in a modern cloud environment
• ▹Proficiency with Go, or strong readiness to ramp quickly (the team writes everything in Go)
• ▹Experience designing and evolving public APIs consumed externally and internally (versioning, backward compatibility, auth)
• ▹Familiarity with microservices and cloud-native architectures, including containers and Kubernetes
• ▹Excellent communication and collaboration skills working with PMs, designers, and engineers

Nice to have

• ▹Experience building platform or shared services spanning multiple products
• ▹Experience in the cloud-native, container, or security ecosystem / broader CNCF space
• ▹Meaningful open source contributions, especially as a maintainer
