Responsibilities

• ▹Own and deliver quarterly goals for the team, leading engineers through ambiguity
• ▹Support the product development lifecycle with product management, design, and analytics
• ▹Proactively identify and lead solving project, process, technology, or business issues
• ▹Support team operations and availability by creating and monitoring metrics, escalating when needed, and on-call
• ▹Foster a culture of quality and ownership by setting or improving code review and design standards
• ▹Help develop talent through feedback, guidance, and leading by example

Requirements

• ▹4+ years of experience as a software engineer
• ▹Experience designing, developing, and launching backend systems at scale with Python, Kotlin, AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes
• ▹Experience shipping front end applications
• ▹Experience defining a technical plan for delivering a significant feature or system component with an elegant, simple, extensible design
• ▹Proficiency making significant changes safely in a large codebase
• ▹Track record of taking ownership of your growth and proactively seeking feedback
• ▹Strong verbal and written communication skills for a global engineering team
