Responsibilities

• ▹Partner cross-functionally with Product to establish top-level KPIs, dashboards and roadmap planning
• ▹Define how success is measured for AI-powered product experiences (adoption, engagement, quality, retention)
• ▹Guide instrumentation of product data with Product Design, Product Management and Engineering
• ▹Design, evaluate and interpret experiments to assess the impact of new AI capabilities
• ▹Develop dbt models to transform and test user behavior data with Analytics Engineering
• ▹Influence best practices and standards for Product Analytics as the company scales

Requirements

• ▹Experience partnering across product and engineering, familiarity with product KPIs and frameworks (DAU/MAU, funnels, A/B testing)
• ▹Experience defining and tracking success metrics for complex product areas, ideally AI-powered features
• ▹Writing complex yet efficient SQL as a daily habit
• ▹Data visualization experience (Tableau, Looker, Omni, Hex, or Grafana)
• ▹Writing dbt models, implementing product analytics tooling (Heap, Pendo, Amplitude, FullStory), git version control
• ▹Using AI-assisted coding tools (e.g. Cursor, Claude Code) to prototype and iterate quickly
• ▹Excellent communication skills explaining technical topics to non-technical audiences

Nice to have

• ▹Knowledge of observability
• ▹Familiarity with Airflow or Prefect for ad hoc ETL jobs
