Senior Product Manager, Cloud Networking

Responsibilities

• ▹Understand users through interviews and data analysis to define personas and journeys
• ▹Drive the Confluent Cloud Network roadmap for services like Kafka, Flink and Connectors
• ▹Define flexible API, CLI and Terraform interfaces and data models, launching new network options
• ▹Drive multi-team, cross-functional initiatives from conception through delivery and iteration
• ▹Define targets, measure performance and share results with stakeholders
• ▹Manage complexity in a fast-evolving product and organization

Requirements

• ▹5+ years as a Product Manager with focus on cloud technologies
• ▹Experience building enterprise-grade products as PM, engineer or solutions architect
• ▹Experience building and defending a product roadmap backed by user stories and research
• ▹Excellent analytical, communication and collaboration skills
• ▹Demonstrated ability to drive business outcomes through product changes

Nice to have

• ▹6+ years of networking experience in a PM or technical role
• ▹Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP private networking features (Private Link, VPC Peering, Transit Gateway) for a SaaS product
• ▹Experience with Envoy, Service Mesh, DNS and Kubernetes Networking
• ▹Experience with network traffic metering and billing
• ▹MBA is a plus
