Responsibilities

• ▹Build new features in collaboration with the team, targeted at high-impact enterprise customers
• ▹Contribute to platform scaling initiatives
• ▹Meet regularly with Product and Design to refine requirements
• ▹Attend agile ceremonies to plan and execute team work
• ▹Work across squads to improve Engineering practices at Calendly
• ▹Review implementation plans and pull requests, mentor and coach team members

Requirements

• ▹7-10 years of professional software development experience in a SaaS or technology-driven environment
• ▹Strong, hands-on full-stack engineering skills, able to independently design, build, and ship production changes
• ▹Experience building and maintaining Node.js services interfacing with distributed APIs, LLMs, or similar mixed-stack environments
• ▹Hands-on experience with Service-Oriented Architectures (SOA), microservices, and monolith-to-services modernization
• ▹Proven ability to own features end-to-end
• ▹Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• ▹Commitment to writing clean, reliable, and maintainable code
• ▹Experience using AI coding assistants (Copilot, Cursor, etc.) as productivity tools
