Maintenance Technician – Backend (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Responsibilities

• ▹Perform planned maintenance and inspections, and resolve unexpected malfunctions on machines, working with mechanical, electrical and electronic components in line with applicable safety regulations
• ▹Perform equipment qualifications based on given instructions (e.g. checklists, SPC) and monitor process parameters to ensure consistent product quality
• ▹Support manual inspection of wafers and lot processing
• ▹Carefully and transparently document work in relevant systems (repair histories, inspection results, anomalies) to ensure traceability, quality assurance and continuous improvement
• ▹Work closely with shift colleagues, process engineers and external service partners to efficiently resolve equipment and process issues
• ▹Work in a fully continuous 6:4 shift model (6 working days including 2 early, 2 late, 2 night shifts, followed by 4 days off)

Requirements

• ▹Completed technical vocational training (e.g. electrician, mechatronics technician, mechanic, industrial electronics technician or comparable); technician or master craftsman qualification desirable but not mandatory
• ▹Professional experience in maintenance of equipment, ideally in a manufacturing environment or with complex technical systems in a cleanroom
• ▹Routine use of common IT applications for documentation and communication
• ▹High quality and responsibility awareness, high concentration ability and strong fine motor skills
• ▹Team-oriented, flexible, motivated and resilient
• ▹Independent, self-responsible, engaged, solution-oriented working style
• ▹Very good German and basic English skills
