Solar Portfolio Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Performance analysis of solar and/or storage projects through remote DAS and SCADA systems
• ▹Serve as central point of contact for plant managers, field operators, utilities and clients
• ▹Site performance reporting to internal and external stakeholders
• ▹Lead client calls and act as client interface for technical issues
• ▹Root cause analysis and performance improvement recommendations for underperforming systems
• ▹Develop procedures and tools for efficient operation of a diverse fleet of solar and storage facilities
• ▹Develop tools and processes to optimize organizational performance

Requirements

• ▹Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, technology, or physics (an Associate degree with professional training or certifications may be considered)
• ▹Experience monitoring, troubleshooting and/or operating power generation or other industrial facilities
• ▹Experience programming in VBA, Python, or equivalent
• ▹Experience with electrical maintenance, including PV technology, DC systems, AC systems, and network communications and monitoring
• ▹Proficiency with MS Office suite
• ▹Ability to maintain unescorted access to NERC regulated facilities
