Responsibilities

• ▹Writes modular, testable, and efficient code using Java (and other languages)
• ▹Designs and implements high-availability applications
• ▹Discovers, plans, writes, documents and maintains new features
• ▹Understands the fundamental design principles behind scalable applications
• ▹Understands the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds
• ▹Optimizes product code for speed where required
