Responsibilities

• ▹Design and architect a modern data platform across environments, including on-premise
• ▹Model analytical systems, dimensional modeling, and business modeling
• ▹Design robust data flows, ETL/ELT processes, and data storage
• ▹Integrate existing systems (e.g. SAS, SQL Server)
• ▹Ensure solutions for data quality, data governance, and metadata management
• ▹Develop technical reference architectures and target architecture for the data warehouse
• ▹Collaborate with business and IT on requirements gathering and solution design
• ▹Support pre-studies and technical evaluations

Requirements

• ▹Extensive experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and other databases
• ▹Extensive experience with ETL and BI tools
• ▹Extensive experience with architecture principles: batch, transaction, streaming data
• ▹Experience with Kafka or similar components
• ▹Experience with container architecture
• ▹Experience with event-driven architecture
• ▹At least 5 years of experience as an architect in data/analytics
• ▹At least 5 years of development experience in data/analytics
• ▹Experience working in complex, large-data-volume environments
• ▹Experience with various ETL/ELT and BI/analytics tools
• ▹Documented experience with on-premise solutions
• ▹Ability to break down complex needs into technical solutions

Nice to have

• ▹Kubernetes experience
• ▹Experience leading technical pre-studies and roadmap work
• ▹Experience developing AI solutions is a plus
• ▹Prior experience with SAS 9.4 and SAS Viya is a plus
