Senior Network & Security Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Oversee, maintain, and continuously develop complex network infrastructures
• ▹Build, configure, and operate modern firewall systems
• ▹Plan, design, and implement WLAN and LAN networks
• ▹Analyze and resolve network faults (troubleshooting)
• ▹Independently manage incidents and changes in the network environment
• ▹Provide technical leadership and coordination for virtual project teams on network projects
• ▹Develop and implement automation solutions to optimize operations
• ▹Provide technical support to sales teams during the pre-sales process

Requirements

• ▹Degree (FH/ETH/TS) in computer science, telecommunications, or equivalent experience
• ▹Solid expertise in perimeter security, routing & switching, VPN, TCP/IP, and WLAN
• ▹Cisco and Fortinet training or certifications
• ▹Confident, stylistically sound German, plus written and spoken English
• ▹Independent, self-motivated way of working
• ▹Team player attitude
• ▹Analytical skills and quick comprehension
• ▹Strong quality consciousness

Nice to have

• ▹Experience at an IT service provider
• ▹HPE or Alcatel Lucent certifications
• ▹Development experience
