Senior Power BI Analyst

Responsibilities

• ▹Work with revenue cycle project leaders to understand business processes and develop reporting
• ▹Design and develop Power BI reports and dashboards
• ▹Gather business requirements for data visualization and analysis
• ▹Collaborate with data teams to acquire, clean and transform data
• ▹Create complex DAX calculations and measures
• ▹Ensure data security and compliance
• ▹Troubleshoot and resolve issues in Power BI reports
• ▹Train and support end users on Power BI
• ▹Prepare recurring daily/weekly/monthly reports and dashboards
• ▹Maintain thorough knowledge of client-specific data (payer mix, insurance and financial classes)
• ▹Support day-to-day operations with ad-hoc analyses
• ▹Compile accurate, timely client-facing reports

Requirements

• ▹Bachelor's degree in computer science, data analytics or a relevant field
• ▹1-3 years of experience in a revenue cycle analytics position in healthcare or equivalent
• ▹Proficiency in Power BI development, report and dashboard creation
• ▹Strong understanding of data modeling and data visualization
• ▹Experience with SQL for data manipulation and extraction
• ▹Knowledge of DAX for creating calculations
• ▹Familiarity with data warehouse concepts
• ▹Experience working with large data sets
