Senior Backend Engineer - AI Products

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Build and scale backend services using Python, Go or Node.js
• ▹Contribute to full-stack features with TypeScript + React where applicable
• ▹Design APIs, real-time pipelines and distributed systems for production workloads
• ▹Collaborate with product, design and engineering teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
• ▹Write clean, maintainable and testable code
• ▹Influence architecture, tooling and best practices in a fast-growing startup environment
• ▹Leverage AI-assisted development tools like Cursor to speed up workflow

Requirements

• ▹4+ years of experience as a backend or full-stack engineer
• ▹Strong skills in Python, Go or Node.js
• ▹Familiarity with frontend frameworks (React/TypeScript) is a plus
• ▹Experience in VC-backed startups or scale-ups
• ▹Comfortable with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• ▹Strong fundamentals: distributed systems, APIs, databases
• ▹Collaborative, self-driven and able to thrive in a fast-moving startup environment
• ▹Fluent English (required)

Nice to have

• ▹Experience in fintech, payments or AI-assisted tooling
• ▹Exposure to event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Pub/Sub)
• ▹Experience contributing to developer tooling or internal frameworks
• ▹Interest in using Cursor or other AI coding tools
• ▹Prior scale-up experience with high-growth products
