Monitoring & Observability Administrator (Women only)

Responsibilities

• ▹Administer the monitoring infrastructure (SCOM / Checkmk / Elastic), keeping it stable, up to date, and properly tuned
• ▹Extend the current infrastructure or implement new infrastructure per capacity management plans
• ▹Develop, improve, configure, and maintain monitoring
• ▹Develop integrations through APIs
• ▹Develop ad-hoc monitors
• ▹Develop SCOM management packs
• ▹Develop and maintain automations using Ansible
• ▹Develop reports
• ▹Identify and troubleshoot known problems and document solutions
• ▹Provide guidance to the Tier 1 workforce and coach team members
• ▹Create statistics for the various monitoring tools
• ▹Perform required tasks during maintenance windows
• ▹Provide stand-by service on a rotation basis on weekends, holidays, and outside normal hours

Requirements

• ▹Good experience with SCOM, Checkmk, and Elastic Observability (Elasticsearch & APM) monitoring tools
• ▹Good scripting knowledge in Bash, PowerShell, or Python
• ▹Programming skills in .NET, C#, and Python
• ▹Proficient English
• ▹At least one relevant certification (Elasticsearch Engineer / Elastic Observability Engineer / System Monitoring with Checkmk / System Center Operations Manager)

Nice to have

• ▹Knowledge of OEM or Prometheus
• ▹Full-Stack Observability platform experience
• ▹Automation tools and runbooks (Ansible, YAML)
• ▹Knowledge of KQL, ESQL, PromQL, JSON, and Kibana dashboards
• ▹Reporting, SSRS, Power BI knowledge
• ▹DevOps practice
