SOC L2 Analyst

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Manage, validate, resolve and control detected incidents
• ▹Use complementary data sources (threat intelligence, vulnerability data, user information) for enhanced correlation and analysis
• ▹Perform security analysis of current and historical alerts to identify malicious activity
• ▹Conduct event-driven threat hunting, extract IOCs where applicable, and analyze for other security incidents
• ▹Isolate issues, analyze impact, and coordinate remediation measures
• ▹Advise on improving the security posture where relevant
• ▹Identify opportunities to customize and improve detection rules and digital playbooks

Requirements

• ▹At least 2-3 years of hands-on experience managing SOAR solutions (troubleshooting and content development)
• ▹Understanding of Chronicle and/or Cortex architecture
• ▹Proficiency in Python
• ▹Experience administering and troubleshooting Linux systems
• ▹Strong technical skills
• ▹Relevant certification
• ▹Experience as a SOC analyst
