Senior Threat Analyst (Romania)

Responsibilities

• ▹Lead shift operations and coordinate response activities across the MDR SecOps team
• ▹Mentor and guide lower-tier analysts, providing escalation support for complex investigations
• ▹Oversee end-to-end analysis of sophisticated threats, coordinating multi-analyst investigations
• ▹Drive technical decision-making during critical incidents
• ▹Lead threat hunting initiatives across the MDR customer base
• ▹Refine detection logic with engineering teams to reduce false positives
• ▹Serve as subject matter expert on advanced persistent threats and zero-day exploits
• ▹Lead client escalations for high-severity incidents
• ▹Develop internal playbooks, investigation methodologies and technical documentation
• ▹Manage shift handovers ensuring seamless 24/7 operations across global teams
• ▹Conduct in-depth malware analysis for complex investigations

Requirements

• ▹Experience in a SOC or MDR environment with threat analysis
• ▹Leadership and mentoring abilities
• ▹Experience collaborating with detection engineering teams
• ▹Malware analysis proficiency
• ▹Experience with client escalations for high-severity incidents
