Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Work on the most challenging design problems at Ashby
• ▹Expand and enhance the in-house design system
• ▹Consult on bespoke design work needed by Product Engineers
• ▹Redesign product flows by talking to customers, wireframing, and implementing polished UI
• ▹Build flexible, composable design-system components for other engineers to use
• ▹Improve information hierarchy and scannability of features together with Product Engineers

Requirements

• ▹2+ years of continuous experience as an Engineer or a Designer (internships don't count)
• ▹Good proficiency in both design and engineering, with exceptional proficiency in the discipline practiced full-time
• ▹Experience designing products and shipping code to real users (even via side projects)

Nice to have

• ▹Major contributions to a design system at Staff level
• ▹Exceptional taste and execution in visual design
• ▹Comfort shipping to a subset of users and iterating on feedback rather than extensive upfront research
