Backend Developer (Nest.js)

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Architect and implement scalable backend solutions using Nest.js and TypeScript
• ▹Develop and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs with seamless integration to frontend and third-party systems
• ▹Design, optimize, and maintain robust database structures (relational and non-relational)
• ▹Build and manage microservices architecture for high-availability applications
• ▹Use Docker and containerization tools to streamline development and deployment
• ▹Implement robust testing frameworks (e.g., Jest)
• ▹Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and other developers
• ▹Enhance application performance through profiling, debugging, and optimization
• ▹Maintain security best practices
• ▹Prepare and maintain clear technical documentation

Requirements

• ▹Proven experience in Nest.js and Node.js development
• ▹Strong proficiency in TypeScript, including advanced features
• ▹In-depth knowledge of database systems (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and ORM frameworks
• ▹Expertise in API design (RESTful and GraphQL)
• ▹Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools (Git)
• ▹Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• ▹Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• ▹Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Nice to have

• ▹Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and serverless architectures
• ▹Experience with message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka)
• ▹Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (JIRA, Trello)
• ▹Previous experience in high-traffic, scalable backend environments
