Business Analyst (Microsoft Power Platform)

Responsibilities

• ▹Liaise with internal and external stakeholders from first contact through solution handover
• ▹Gather, analyze, and systematize business requirements, identifying real business needs
• ▹Run discovery sessions, interviews, and workshops with business users
• ▹Manage stakeholder expectations on functionality, timelines, and platform constraints
• ▹Present finished solutions and collect and process feedback
• ▹Prepare functional specifications, technical requirements, and describe business processes (AS-IS / TO-BE)
• ▹Decompose requirements into User Stories and tasks with acceptance criteria
• ▹Describe integration scenarios, data flows, and system interactions
• ▹Define role and access permission matrices for Dataverse-based solutions
• ▹Collaborate with the development team on requirements, sprint planning, and backlog prioritization
• ▹Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with stakeholders
• ▹Analyze defects, create bug reports, and verify implemented functionality against requirements
• ▹Participate in Sprint Reviews and retrospectives
• ▹Maintain project documentation and knowledge base, create user guides
• ▹Analyze the effectiveness of implemented solutions and prepare status reports for management

Requirements

• ▹3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or System Analyst in IT
• ▹Hands-on experience gathering and documenting business requirements in a corporate environment
• ▹Experience describing business processes and creating functional specifications
• ▹Ability to decompose requirements into User Stories with acceptance criteria
• ▹Understanding of the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem: Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Power BI, Dataverse
• ▹Knowledge of the capabilities and limitations of low-code platforms
• ▹Basic Dataverse knowledge: tables, relationships, security models, and access roles
• ▹Understanding of system integration principles: REST API, Connectors, Data Flows
• ▹Experience with SharePoint as a documentation platform and data source
• ▹Hands-on experience with documentation and task management tools (Confluence, SharePoint, Planner)
• ▹Confident knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
• ▹Higher education in IT, business analysis, management, or a related field
• ▹Fluent Ukrainian
• ▹English at Intermediate (B1) level for documentation and vendor communication
