Software Engineer (React Native / React)

Responsibilities

• ▹App migration (main task): fully migrate the existing mobile app from Flutter to React Native
• ▹Product development and support after migration: feature work, bug fixes, writing automated tests
• ▹Code quality and architecture: writing clean, well-designed code
• ▹Analyzing requirements, researching implementation approaches, and making business-driven decisions
• ▹Communication: direct interaction with the client and effective collaboration with developers, designers, and managers

Requirements

• ▹5+ years of commercial mobile app development experience, including 3+ years with React Native
• ▹Upper-Intermediate English or higher for daily client communication
• ▹Excellent knowledge of React Native, React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
• ▹Experience designing mobile app architecture and building scalable solutions
• ▹Confident knowledge of Redux Toolkit, Redux, Context API, and modern state management approaches
• ▹Experience with React Navigation
• ▹Understanding of how iOS and Android platforms work, their specifics and differences
• ▹Experience integrating REST APIs, knowledge of Axios or similar libraries, understanding of JWT/OAuth authorization
• ▹Experience optimizing app performance, profiling, debugging, and fixing memory leaks
• ▹Ability to write clean, maintainable, well-structured code following SOLID, DRY, KISS principles
• ▹Experience with Git, code review, and team development
• ▹Understanding of the App Store and Google Play publishing process
• ▹Experience with async data libraries (React Query / TanStack Query or similar)
• ▹Experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD for mobile apps
• ▹Experience with monitoring and analytics systems (Sentry, Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase Analytics)
• ▹Ability to estimate tasks, make technical decisions, and participate in designing new features

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with React Native New Architecture (Fabric, TurboModules, JSI)
• ▹Writing native modules in Swift/Objective-C or Kotlin/Java
• ▹Writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests (Jest, React Native Testing Library, Detox)
• ▹GraphQL experience (Apollo, Relay)
• ▹Fastlane, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, Bitrise, or other CI/CD platforms
• ▹OTA updates (CodePush, Expo Updates)
