Senior Information Developer role in Ukraine, supporting a client's software documentation for integrating internal systems with the Ukrainian state platform under new regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- ▹Identify requirements for publications to be developed with minor senior supervision
- ▹Identify the client's writing style and write technical documentation conforming to publication standards (Microsoft, Apple, Chicago)
- ▹Estimate documentation development efforts and agree task deadlines with the Project Manager or Head of IDO
- ▹Communicate the status of documentation tasks in progress
- ▹Interview subject matter experts to obtain project details
- ▹Create documentation templates for various document outputs
- ▹Write and edit interface and procedural documentation including user guides, installation guides, quick-reference guides, release notes, system configuration guides, and help systems
- ▹Take part in IDO competence development events
- ▹Coach and mentor junior staff
Requirements
- ▹3+ years of relevant work experience
- ▹Understanding of software documentation specifics
- ▹Deep knowledge of software terminology
- ▹Knowledge of technical documentation development methodology (DDLC) and its interdependence with SDLC
- ▹Experience setting up documentation processes
- ▹Proven experience updating documentation according to existing templates
- ▹Solid experience creating documentation and templates from scratch, if needed
- ▹Proven experience in UX writing
