Senior Frontend Engineer (Svelte)

Responsibilities

• ▹Work on frontend architecture and implementation
• ▹Build dynamic, responsive UIs using Svelte (or React, if needed)
• ▹Rapidly prototype features, sometimes before designs are finalized
• ▹Collaborate closely with the designer and backend engineers
• ▹Start with mock data or no data, then wire in backend integrations
• ▹Improve development speed through smart tooling, CI, and test coverage
• ▹Bring a product-minded approach to usability and interaction design
• ▹Contribute to core architecture decisions for a system that works hand-in-hand with AI workflows

Requirements

• ▹5+ years of frontend development experience, ideally in a start-up or fast-paced team
• ▹Deep experience with Svelte or React, leaning toward Svelte
• ▹Strong knowledge of component design, performance, and modern frontend practices
• ▹Ability to move quickly from idea to prototype to production
• ▹Self-driven, focused, capable of working independently with minimal oversight
• ▹Comfortable communicating and making decisions in a distributed team

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with AI-integrated, data-heavy, or real-time applications
• ▹Experience setting up frontend CI/testing pipelines or using tools like Storybook
• ▹Skilled in UI prototyping and fast idea validation
