DevOps Team Leader

Responsibilities

• ▹Resolve the most complex DevOps tasks
• ▹Lead the team of Product Operations and DevOps engineers
• ▹Conduct a comprehensive audit of existing service-management processes and plan improvements
• ▹Establish and plan key operational performance indicators
• ▹Provide immediate response to any alert
• ▹Liaise with SL1/SL3, third parties and internal stakeholders
• ▹Provide regular reports to the direct manager

Requirements

• ▹Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• ▹5+ years of experience as a DevOps or SRE engineer, including 1+ years in a leading/management role
• ▹Strong understanding of the ITIL framework
• ▹Hands-on production experience with zero tolerance for errors
• ▹Strong experience with Linux, networking, Docker, configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet), CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins), cloud services (AWS) and orchestration (Kubernetes, Nomad)
• ▹Experience writing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
• ▹Experience with monitoring systems (Grafana, Prometheus, Nagios/Sensu) and logging solutions (Elastic Stack, Loki)
• ▹Excellent oral and written communication skills, able to interact with senior management, technical subject-matter experts and business customers
• ▹Ability to work on multiple initiatives and projects simultaneously
• ▹Programming skills in Python/Bash
• ▹Fluent English

Nice to have

• ▹Experience in support of web applications with a microservices architecture
• ▹NoSQL database support (MongoDB, Redis)
• ▹Experience working in a global, multilingual organization
