Responsibilities

• ▹Design, build and evolve mobile experiences across some of Spotify's most visible consumer surfaces
• ▹Contribute to the architecture and development of reusable mobile foundations, frameworks and platform capabilities
• ▹Support technical initiatives that improve scalability, performance, reliability and developer experience
• ▹Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, designers and platform teams
• ▹Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, testing practices and observability
• ▹Explore modern engineering workflows, including AI-assisted development tools

Requirements

• ▹Experience developing Android applications using Kotlin
• ▹Awareness of how to build maintainable, scalable, reusable and well-tested software systems
• ▹Experience collaborating with engineers and colleagues across disciplines
• ▹Care about code quality, testing, documentation and long-term maintainability
• ▹Curiosity about modern development tooling, including AI-assisted coding solutions

Nice to have

• ▹Familiarity with SQL, analytics systems, or data engineering concepts
