Responsibilities

• ▹Work with various groups within Akamai to gather requirements and collaborate on architecting enterprise solutions
• ▹Create new features or enhance existing functionality, from design through testing and deployment
• ▹Work in an agile sprint environment to deliver quality software on a regular basis
• ▹Contribute to enhancement and bug fixes of existing applications
• ▹Measure, maintain and optimize distributed system performance
• ▹Mentor junior software engineers on technology aspects

Requirements

• ▹5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• ▹Proficiency in developing applications using Java, Spring, JavaScript and databases
• ▹Experience with front-end technologies like Angular / Bootstrap / ReactJS
• ▹Experience with one or more web programming languages such as Python, Perl or PHP
• ▹Excellent communication skills, able to present to various stakeholders
• ▹Proficiency with build tools and Linux commands

• ▹Exposure to AI technologies
