Senior Principal Solutions Architect (Vertica)

Responsibilities

• ▹Advise enterprise customers, translating business challenges into scalable Vertica-based architectures
• ▹Design data warehousing, data lake and hybrid/multi-cloud solutions
• ▹Lead competitive proof-of-concepts and performance benchmarks
• ▹Lead technical sales strategy and mentor sales engineers
• ▹Integrate Vertica with modern data ecosystems (Kafka, Spark, S3, HDFS, Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
• ▹Write and optimize complex analytical SQL queries
• ▹Develop automation scripts in Python and shell
• ▹Deploy and configure Vertica environments on-premises, hybrid and cloud
• ▹Collaborate with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and ecosystem partners

Requirements

• ▹Deep analytical database expertise
• ▹Presales experience
• ▹Python and shell scripting skills
• ▹SQL query optimization experience
• ▹Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP cloud platforms
• ▹Knowledge of Kafka, Spark, Tableau, Power BI, Looker
