Platform Engineer (Azure)

Requirements

• ▹5+ years of experience
• ▹Strong foundation in software engineering principles, with a focus on cloud-native development and deployment methodologies
• ▹Extensive experience with the Azure cloud platform and solution architecture, including AKS, networking, storage, and other Azure services relevant to Kubernetes deployments
• ▹Strong understanding of infrastructure and software engineering principles with a focus on Kubernetes (cluster administration, application deployment, networking, security)
• ▹Experience with open-source Kubernetes tools (FluxCD, Kong, Linkerd) and their integration with Azure
• ▹Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps principles, ideally with GitHub Actions, integrated with Azure Resource Manager and Kubernetes
• ▹Experience with Terraform and IaC principles
• ▹Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Go, C#, JS)
• ▹Understanding of UX and developer experience (DevX) principles for designing user-friendly cloud-based tools and platforms
• ▹Strong understanding of security best practices and zero-trust principles
