Software Engineer (NodeJS)

Responsibilities

• ▹Design and develop scalable services as part of a modern, event-driven architecture
• ▹Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into reliable technical solutions
• ▹Implement and maintain clean service interfaces and data flows following EDA principles
• ▹Write high-quality, testable code supported by automated testing and CI pipelines
• ▹Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions and technical design sessions
• ▹Continuously improve system design and development practices to support platform scalability

Requirements

• ▹3+ years of experience building and maintaining backend applications in Node.js production environments
• ▹Experience developing modern web interfaces using React with TypeScript and NextJS (SPA and SSR/SSG modes) for production
• ▹Hands-on experience with MongoDB, including data modeling and performance optimization
• ▹Solid knowledge of RESTful API design, development and integration best practices
• ▹Experience working with event-driven architectures (EDA) and message-based communication
• ▹Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and clean architecture principles
• ▹Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Git-based version control (GitHub Actions or similar)
• ▹Strong emphasis on testing (unit, integration) and code quality
• ▹Familiarity with observability practices: logging, monitoring, tracing
• ▹Excellent collaboration and communication skills in cross-functional teams
