Cybersecurity Operations Consultant

Responsibilities

• ▹Investigate security alerts and anomalies identified through Google's security tools (Security Command Center, Security Operations, DLP) and escalated SOC incidents
• ▹Support architecture changes, development and implementation of new solutions, and configuration hardening in Google Environment
• ▹Identify and suggest new detection use cases for real-time threat detection
• ▹Contribute to development and maintenance of automation playbooks using Google Cloud Functions, SOAR, and Security Orchestration
• ▹Identify and suggest architecture changes to enhance cybersecurity posture
• ▹Support and participate in security risk assessments and audits related to Cloud environment
• ▹Ensure ICT environment compliance with ISO 27001 standards, tracking and mitigating identified risks
• ▹Manage vulnerabilities using Google-native or third-party security tools (Qualys, Crowdstrike)
• ▹Monitor and act on 24x7 SOC security operations, ensuring incidents are remediated
• ▹Support integration of Google Cloud security environment with other security controls (Splunk, CrowdStrike)

Requirements

• ▹Minimum two years of relevant experience in Information Technology, including incident response or forensics in Google Cloud environment
• ▹Proven experience in implementation and design of security architecture, security controls, and best practices in Google Cloud environment
