Responsibilities

• ▹Build the Databricks engineering framework under the guidance of the Central Platform Team
• ▹Establish reusable development patterns
• ▹Advance the core codebase

Requirements

• ▹Proven experience as a Data Engineer or Data Platform Engineer working with Databricks
• ▹Strong proficiency in PySpark, SQL, and Python within the Databricks ecosystem
• ▹Hands-on experience with modern IDEs (VS Code) and version control workflows (Git/GitHub)
• ▹Enthusiasm for using AI-assisted coding tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT for code)
• ▹Experience implementing design patterns, reusable frameworks, and data pipeline modularization
• ▹Strong communication skills and effective collaboration in a platform-guided environment

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, or Medallion Architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold)
• ▹Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for data engineering (e.g. GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
• ▹Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
