Senior Android Engineer

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Apply technical knowledge across all stages of feature development
• ▹Deliver high quality, modular, testable code, including business logic shared with the iOS app
• ▹Contribute to relevant project documentation
• ▹Create user interfaces based on mock-ups from UI/UX designers, including animations
• ▹Help improve processes and standards

Requirements

• ▹Deep knowledge of Android Java and Kotlin (Kotlin is Fabulous' primary language)
• ▹Strong understanding of clean architecture, design patterns and clean code
• ▹Experience developing, releasing and maintaining native Android applications
• ▹Ability to work efficiently as part of a team, giving and receiving feedback
• ▹Ability to write succinct emails and communicate effectively in English

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with Jetpack Compose
• ▹Knowledge of the MVI pattern
• ▹iOS app development experience
• ▹Basic JavaScript knowledge (used for tooling)
