Responsibilities

• ▹Design and build APIs and SDKs that power Publish, ensuring they are scalable, well-documented and reliable
• ▹Contribute to the agentic future of Publish, building backend infrastructure and APIs for AI-driven content workflows
• ▹Act as a technical bridge between the platform and customers, translating enterprise requirements into scalable solutions
• ▹Navigate the complexity of a visual CMS at scale across diverse customer tech stacks and hosting environments
• ▹Shape the technical direction of the Publish platform through code reviews, pair programming and architectural decisions
• ▹Drive drama-free launches by anticipating edge cases and surfacing risks early

Requirements

• ▹6+ years of full-stack web development experience, shipping complex production-grade features independently
• ▹Deep expertise in React and TypeScript/Node.js, with strong performance and architectural instincts
• ▹Strong API and backend fluency, designing and building scalable REST or GraphQL APIs
• ▹Strong product intuition and comfort navigating ambiguity
• ▹Customer-first mindset, comfortable speaking directly with enterprise customers
• ▹Cloud fluency in architecting scalable systems
