Senior SRE Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Defines and builds the infrastructure needed to meet Pigment's performance challenges, automating it and making it scalable
• ▹Ensures the infrastructure scales in and out according to platform usage
• ▹Secures high availability and redundancy of the Pigment platform
• ▹Ensures the platform's performance and correctness are monitored, and spreads observability best practices across the engineering team
• ▹Participates in incident response
• ▹Supports Pigment's geographical expansion as the company grows and signs clients overseas
• ▹Works with the security team on implementing their roadmap for infrastructure and development pipelines (code repository, credentials management)
• ▹Continuously identifies and removes inefficiencies in development practices and pipelines, seeking automation opportunities
• ▹Drives change across the software engineering team
• ▹Alongside SRE duties, contributes to software development activities, working closely with software engineers

Requirements

• ▹Familiarity with the team's technology stack: Kubernetes (GKE, Google Cloud Platform), Terraform, PostgreSQL (CloudSQL and CloudNativePG), SingleStore, ElasticSearch, RabbitMQ, Temporal.io, ArgoCD, Istio, Vault, GitHub, Docker
