Responsibilities

• ▹Design Ubuntu integration for IoT and server hardware platforms
• ▹Deliver an optimised Ubuntu experience together with partners
• ▹Act as technical lead on complex customer engagements
• ▹Support integration of apps, SDKs, and device OS images

Requirements

• ▹Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or STEM
• ▹Experience with Linux packaging (Debian, RPM, Yocto)
• ▹Experience with open-source communities and licences
• ▹Experience with C, C++
• ▹Ability to work in a globally distributed team

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with graphics stacks
• ▹Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DHCP, HTTP/REST)
• ▹IoT/embedded experience (SoC, BMC, bootloaders, firmware)
• ▹Docker/OCI containers and Kubernetes experience
• ▹Basic security best practices in IoT/server environments
