Senior Software Engineer - Platform

Responsibilities

• ▹Design and build scalable backend systems, platform capabilities, and shared services
• ▹Improve developer experience through reusable tooling, frameworks, APIs, and automation
• ▹Operate and improve distributed production systems for reliability and observability
• ▹Partner with Product Engineering teams to remove platform bottlenecks
• ▹Drive technical initiatives from architecture through rollout and adoption

Requirements

• ▹Significant experience building and operating backend systems at production scale
• ▹Strong experience with distributed systems, microservices, event-driven architectures, scalable APIs, and cloud infrastructure
• ▹Track record owning complex technical problems end-to-end
• ▹Sound engineering judgement on when to improve, simplify, or not redesign systems

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with TypeScript (or motivation to work in it, coming from Go, Java, Kotlin, or similar)
