Member of Engineering (Design Engineer, Product)

Responsibilities

• ▹Own product vision in 0-to-1 spaces, translating ambiguous problems into clear, buildable direction
• ▹Lead design, experimentation, and proof-of-concepts exploring what's next for developer tools
• ▹Partner with Product Engineering to move ideas from concept to shipped product at both strategic and granular levels
• ▹Prototype rapidly and validate early, comfortable in both code and design tools
• ▹Collaborate with designers and the wider design team for consistent product thinking
• ▹Shape how Poolside shows up externally as a product, including how developers first encounter its work

Requirements

• ▹Strong product intuition with a history of defining what to build, not just how to build it
• ▹A track record of forging direction, not just executing on it
