Senior Infrastructure DevOps Engineer (100% Remote Germany)

Responsibilities

• ▹Architect and evolve scalable, secure cloud infrastructure
• ▹Define infrastructure standards and long-term technical direction
• ▹Drive cost optimisation and performance improvements
• ▹Own uptime, SLAs and incident management practices
• ▹Lead post-incident reviews and systemic improvements
• ▹Define monitoring, alerting and observability strategy
• ▹Lead Infrastructure as Code maturity and governance
• ▹Improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment reliability
• ▹Enable engineering teams through better tooling and platform capabilities

Requirements

• ▹5-8+ years in DevOps, SRE or infrastructure engineering
• ▹Deep AWS and cloud architecture expertise
• ▹Strong Infrastructure as Code experience
• ▹Proven ownership of complex production systems
• ▹Strong systems thinking and problem-solving ability
• ▹Ability to influence teams and drive technical decisions
• ▹Must be based in Germany

Nice to have

• ▹Kubernetes and container platforms at scale
• ▹Experience with high-availability SaaS products
• ▹Exposure to compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2)
• ▹Experience mentoring engineers and shaping practices
