Back-End Developer

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable and reliable server-side code
• ▹Develop and manage well-functioning APIs and database architectures
• ▹Ensure optimal performance, quality and responsiveness of applications
• ▹Identify bottlenecks and bugs and devise solutions
• ▹Implement security and data protection best practices
• ▹Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements

Requirements

• ▹3+ years of back-end development experience
• ▹Proficiency in a server-side language (Python, Java, PHP, etc.)
• ▹Experience designing and working with relational and/or NoSQL databases
• ▹Understanding of RESTful API design and best practices
• ▹Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with microservices architecture
• ▹Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• ▹Knowledge of caching and message queue systems (Redis, RabbitMQ)
