Responsibilities

• ▹Designing: align ambitions and stakeholder needs at the feature level, collaborating with the team to propose well-fitting solutions via RFCs.
• ▹Building: develop Go code together with agents, targeting the backend service, plugin framework, CLI tooling, CI/CD pipelines or the React frontend app.
• ▹Documenting: ensure high-quality, curated markdown documentation for users, AI agents and maintainers/on-call.
• ▹Operating: strive for operational excellence through constant vigilance, proactivity and on-call participation for business-critical workloads.
• ▹Supporting: understand the needs of diverse data platform users and guide them to golden paths.

Requirements

• ▹Proven track record of designing, building and operating large-scale distributed systems and/or platforms.
• ▹Deep experience with Go, combined with a polyglot mindset and willingness to work in Python or other languages when needed.
• ▹Hands-on experience building, maintaining and optimizing CI/CD pipelines.
• ▹Strong foundational understanding of networking and security best practices.
• ▹Familiarity with data platform architecture and technologies, specifically columnar databases/storage and MPP engines.
• ▹Passion for Developer Experience, balancing user needs with technical and platform constraints.
• ▹Active use of agentic coding as a preferred workflow to accelerate value delivery, while maintaining a critical eye to vet and secure code for robust systems.
