Senior Backend Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Develop and maintain backend services, business logic and platform capabilities that power real-time business processes
• ▹Implement and enhance event-driven functionality with reliable, scalable and efficient data and message processing
• ▹Build and maintain integrations between the platform and external systems, devices and applications
• ▹Implement workflow-driven solutions and enable seamless interaction between business processes, services and event streams
• ▹Develop scalable APIs and service interfaces
• ▹Ensure maintainability, performance and operational reliability through robust engineering practices
• ▹Work closely with technical leads and engineering teams to turn architectural concepts into high-quality software

Requirements

• ▹Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience
• ▹4+ years of experience in backend development, ideally in distributed or event-driven system environments
• ▹Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices and scalable application design
• ▹Solid understanding of event-driven architectures, distributed systems and reliable system communication patterns
• ▹Experience with NoSQL databases, containerized applications and modern software development practices
• ▹Structured, ownership-driven and quality-focused approach
• ▹Strong English skills (C1) in written and spoken communication
