Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Solving complex problems with software that is reliable, well-tested, resilient, and observable
• ▹Developing, testing, deploying, and owning Python microservices that deliver business and user value
• ▹Working closely with engineers, product managers, and other cross-functional partners as part of a vibrant product team
• ▹Writing clear, concise, well-documented code that adheres to industry best practices
• ▹Contributing to code reviews, offering feedback to ensure code quality across the team
• ▹Continuously learning and adapting to new technologies and development practices
• ▹Taking the initiative to continuously improve team collaboration and influence the team's strategy

Requirements

• ▹Strong Computer Engineering background with a proven track record of building and maintaining backend systems and cloud microservices (stack based on Python, but open to relevant experience in other languages)
• ▹Solid understanding of programming fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming
• ▹Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• ▹Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git) and CI/CD pipelines
• ▹Knowledge of testing frameworks and a solid approach to debugging and refactoring
