Responsibilities

• ▹Lead multiple engineering teams and Engineering Managers, supporting growth through coaching, feedback and inclusive leadership practices
• ▹Define and drive the long-term technical vision for how supply is integrated, managed and scaled across the Trainline platform
• ▹Own end-to-end delivery across the Supply Platform domain, ensuring initiatives deliver measurable operational and business impact
• ▹Partner closely with Product, Data Science, Commercial and Supply stakeholders to align technical strategy with business needs
• ▹Drive the adoption of AI-enabled and agentic workflows across engineering and operational processes
• ▹Lead large-scale platform modernisation and architectural transformation initiatives, balancing strategic investment with pragmatic delivery priorities
• ▹Provide technical leadership across platform architecture, APIs, system interactions and operational workflows
• ▹Champion engineering excellence by promoting resilient, observable and scalable systems and a culture of experimentation and continuous learning

Requirements

• ▹Significant experience leading multiple engineering teams and delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives within platform, distributed systems or large-scale technology environments
• ▹A strong track record of building inclusive, high-performing engineering organisations and developing future engineering leaders through coaching and mentorship
• ▹Experience leading platform modernisation and architectural transformation
