Data Analyst - Data Excellence

Responsibilities

• ▹Gather, analyze and visualize technical insurance data
• ▹Collaborate with data engineering, insurance product, claims, finance and operations teams to improve data integrity
• ▹Automate reporting using VBA, SQL and Python
• ▹Turn complex insurance data into clear insights for technical and non-technical stakeholders
• ▹Conduct deep-dive analyses and develop analytical tools
• ▹Deliver solutions that automate other departments' workflows
• ▹Identify opportunities to improve business performance and operational effectiveness
• ▹Provide ad hoc analytical support and research

Requirements

• ▹Strong proficiency with SQL and Excel, ideally including VBA and Power Query
• ▹Good knowledge of Power BI or other BI tools (e.g. Tableau, Looker)
• ▹Exposure to or proficiency in programming languages (e.g. Python, R) and experience with modern databases, ideally Snowflake
• ▹Ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights
• ▹Excellent communication and presentation skills
• ▹Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment with uncertainty
• ▹Authorized to work in Poland without employer sponsorship

Nice to have

• ▹Exposure to Power Automate, Power Apps, DataGrip / Cursor and Jira
• ▹Property, specialty or casualty insurance data experience
• ▹Strong interest in AI and ML tools
